May 20 20142014-05-20A photograph of a ritual gathering in smoky light. In the centre, a young shaved-headed man in orange robes with a white tilak and a rudraksha mala holds a small brass vessel and stands looking downward. Around him, many shaved-headed men and boys in orange and saffron garments and beaded malas sit and stand closely, some with hands folded. Two girls in orange dresses and beads stand at left. Brass plates and vessels rest on a cloth in the foreground, and a tall gilded ornamental pillar with a canopy is visible in the background. Smoke drifts through the scene. No figure is clearly identifiable as a person.2013-03-10A photograph of a shaved-headed priest seated cross-legged on a striped mat, bare-chested, wearing a rust-brown dhoti with a gold border, a long rudraksha mala with a pendant, and a dark beaded mala around the upper arms. He holds a small brass bell and raises one hand with an oil lamp flame toward a seated group of devotees in orange and saffron robes, many bare-chested with rudraksha malas. Brass plates, a bowl of offerings and an oil lamp sit before him, with an orange bag on the left. Behind them the room is softly blurred with more seated participants. Several people are in view, and the scene appears to be a puja or ritual gathering.2017-01-22A smiling man in an orange-red turban and red-orange robe, with a brown rudraksha-style shawl draped over his shoulders, holds a lit camphor flame on a brass aarti lamp with a small bell in his other hand during a ceremony. Around him, several young men in orange and saffron garments, rudraksha malas and white sacred ash on their foreheads and arms stand close together, some with palms joined and others holding bells and trays. An orange and gold canopy umbrella and a yellow umbrella are overhead, and booths with colourful signs fill the tented background. This appears to be an aarti ritual in a festival tent setting. The central man matches Swamiji (probable) based on his turban, saffron-orange clothing and distinctive shawl, and he is physically present.2016-04-25October 17 20122012-10-17January 17 20132013-01-17A dense crowd fills a temple hall with stone pillars and hanging orange and yellow fabric.
