Close-up photograph of a ritual tray densely covered with fresh flowers: yellow chrysanthemums, orange roses, pink and red roses, and white blooms arranged in tiers. Polished gold and silver vessels and small brass or gold fittings are visible among the petals. No people are visible in the frame.2013-10-12July 11 20132013-07-11Close overhead photo of a padapuja: a pair of bare feet rests on a large brass tray filled with red, pink, yellow and white flower petals, with two ornate brass knobs with red stones at the centre. A silver vessel with flowers sits at the right edge and a small silver bowl at top left. The feet are the focus; the rest of the frame is flower petals and metalwork. No face is visible.2013-06-24August 04 20172017-08-04October 24 20132013-10-24 +1 copiesMay 12 20172017-05-12January 05 20192019-01-05Close-up photograph of a bare foot resting on a gold-rimmed ornate plate filled with pink, red and yellow rose petals and a white frangipani flower. The foot is adorned with a garland of pink roses, white flowers and gold beads wrapped around the ankle. A small gold vessel sits among the petals, and a golden surface with a silver tray is visible in the blurred background. This appears to be a padapuja, the ritual washing and honouring of a person's feet with flowers. Only a foot and ankle are visible, so the person cannot be counted or identified.2017-07-26October 24 20132013-10-24 +1 copiesClose-up of a pair of ornate gold sandals or padukas placed on a silver tray, heavily decorated with garlands of white jasmine (mogra) and yellow marigolds, along with red and pink roses and white daisies. The gold footwear has embossed floral and geometric patterns, with small gold ornaments set with purple stones, and a strand of beads lies across them. No people are visible; the scene reads as a padapuja-style offering of flowers to sacred footwear.August 04 20172017-08-04May 12 20172017-05-12
