July 14 20132013-07-14A photograph of two saffron-clad men walking along a dirt path under a bright orange umbrella held by an unseen attendant, beneath a corrugated metal roof and steel framework. The man in front has long dark hair, a saffron cloth wrapped over one shoulder with gold borders, and multiple rudraksha malas around his neck, and smiles while carrying a small object. Behind him a barefoot man in saffron with a rudraksha mala walks alongside. Behind them, people in white dhotis and white shirts stand and sit near concrete blocks and corrugated sheets, with a man in a red shawl on the right. Swamiji (probable) is the man in front, identified only by appearance cues: long swept-back hair, saffron garments and rudraksha malas, in a procession-like setting.2013-07-14Outdoor photograph at a construction-site-like compound with dirt ground and a metal-framed shelter. Two men in saffron-orange robes with yellow borders walk side by side. The man on the right, shaved-headed, holds a yellow umbrella aloft over them and wears a rudraksha mala and a small pendant. Behind them, people in white ritual clothes and red shawls walk and sit on white plastic chairs, and a floral garland hangs on a pillar at left. Puddles and scattered petals lie on the ground.2013-07-14Outdoor photo of saffron-robed sannyasis walking along a red-and-orange striped carpet runner beneath a red and yellow canopy with gold fringe. An older man in white kurta and dhoti stands at the left edge, with white-clad helpers behind.2003-01-01July 14 20132013-07-14July 14 20132013-07-14Photograph of two men in saffron-orange dhotis with gold borders and rudraksha malas standing outdoors before a small fire pit and clay vessel. The man on the right, with long swept-back hair, a red bindi and multiple rudraksha necklaces, appears to be the probable Swamiji candidate; he is looking down while another man in white kurta with a blue ID badge on a red lanyard stands behind him. The man on the left has a shaved head and white tilak, holding an orange umbrella. Several onlookers in white and orange clothes stand behind them, and a woman in a white sari with gold border stands nearby. A small paper drawing lies on a brick ledge in the foreground.2013-07-14Photo of a procession at a temple entrance under a metal-framed roof.
