A photograph of a puja at a shrine dominated by a golden peacock-mounted murti of Subramanya, a deity with a spear, adorned with red, yellow and white garlands and flanked by two smaller consort figures in jewelled garlands. In the foreground a bald priest in an orange shawl and white arm markings bends forward holding a tiered silver aarti lamp with many lit oil lamps. Behind him two seated attendants, one in orange robes with rudraksha beads and one in white, sit on a mat before the altar. The shrine has gold-framed arch decoration and a red cloth draped over the peacock base.

A photograph of a temple shrine rotated sideways. Centre is a gilded deity murti with silver-white and gold ornaments set against a yellow silk backdrop, framed by an ornate golden arch. Two large brass oil lamps with bright flames stand in front, and a small framed portrait garlanded with red flowers sits on a golden pedestal at upper left. Red draping surrounds the shrine. A few partially visible people appear at the top left edge, but their clothing and actions are not clear enough to describe.
