April 02 20122012-04-02A white marble murti of a seated sage in a lavender turban and lavender shawl, with a red bindi, silver and beaded necklaces, and one raised hand in abhaya mudra. Yellow and magenta flower garlands frame the figure against gold and maroon brocade with a gold-embroidered backdrop. Brass bowls with offerings sit beside the statue and in front of it on a wooden table. This is a statue, not a living person, so the a person field marks a depiction of a deity-style sculpture rather than a living candidate.2012-04-07July 19 20092009-07-19A photograph of a devotional shrine decorated with garlands.
