A photograph inside a temple shrine. A shaved-headed priest in white dhoti with an orange-bordered cloth stands with his back to the camera, raising an oil lamp with a flame in his right hand toward a richly decorated central shrine. Two deity murtis stand in an arched niche before red drapes: the figure on the left has an orange crown, orange dhoti and gold necklaces, and holds a trident-like staff; the figure on the right wears a gold crown, yellow garment and red floral garlands. A Shivalinga draped in pink and magenta flower garlands sits in front of them, with a silver kalasha and brass lamps on the sides. Carved stone pillars and a golden arch frame the scene.2012-05-12May 10 20122012-05-10A photograph inside a temple shrine with gold-painted arches and a red backdrop. Behind the altar sit two painted deity figures in red and orange garments with crowns and garlands. In front, a black stone murti is decorated with white and yellow flower garlands, rudraksha malas and a tilak, draped in white cloth. A small blue-draped figure in a cloth and bead necklace sits on the left. A standing priest in a white dhoti with a yellow cloth and bare shoulders stands at right near a gold figure, touching an item at the altar. Tall brass oil lamps and a brass kalasha stand in the foreground on a wet stone floor. Another man in white sits at the far right edge.2015-05-05A temple shrine photographed as a photo of a shrine with a sculpted deity pair under a gilded arch. Two large painted statues stand behind a green curtain: the central figure holds a trident and a raised hand, and the other wears a tall ornate crown and a jeweled necklace, both draped with yellow and red marigold garlands. In front, a conical silver-and-pink murti is adorned with garlands and a silver mask-like face. A shaved-headed priest in saffron-orange robes stands at the lower left, holding a small bowl or lamp, while another person with dark hair is partly visible at the bottom edge. Oil lamps stand on brass stands at the sides, with a smaller statue of a standing figure in orange and a green backdrop at the right.2013-06-29July 21 20102010-07-21March 30 20132013-03-30A photograph inside a golden-trimmed temple shrine. A priest in white dhoti and shawl, with bare upper body, stands at left holding a round brass plate or tray near the altar. Behind him, large deity murti figures stand in a gilded arched niche against a red curtain; one is painted in red and gold with a crown and trident-like staff, the other has a tall crown and teal skirt. Garlands of white and red flowers hang on the figures and a Shiva lingam with a bilva-style garland sits on a decorated yoni base. In front, a red-robed seated figure with a red turban and garlands sits on a red and gold cloth before offerings and brass oil lamps. Another red-robed figure in a green-curtained niche at right wears a red turban and garlands. Tall brass lamp stands flank the scene.2012-04-23January 15 20172017-01-15April 13 20172017-04-13February 14 20152015-02-14December 18 20132013-12-18December 06 20132013-12-06
