A padapuja ritual in progress. A pair of bare feet rests on a gold tray, with white jasmine-type flowers scattered over them, and water being poured over the feet from a silver vessel. A person in a white garment and another in saffron-orange cloth reach in with silver bowls, with a pink orchid and a red apple placed among silver ritual vessels, a small gold lamp stand and silver trays. The hands and feet of the people involved are visible, but their faces are not, so the scene is shown in close detail.2010-08-30Close photo of a padapuja ritual in which water is poured over a bare foot resting on a gold-patterned tray.
