Inside, a deity murti stands adorned with garlands of red, orange and white flowers and a red-and-gold crown, with a yellow cloth draping the base. In the foreground on a gold throne, a framed portrait of a saffron-robed figure with long hair and rudraksha beads is decked with a flower garland. Red cushions and gold-carved boxes flank the throne, and orange curtains hang at the sides.2010-09-28January 22 20122012-01-22Photo 11681736A photo collage with a large main panel and a smaller inset. The main panel shows a golden ornate temple shrine with carved stone pillars and red curtains, housing a deity murti dressed in yellow and pink garments and garlanded with multicolour flower strands. Below the murti sits a framed printed picture of a man in orange robes and a rudraksha mala, placed in front of an ornate golden throne-like peetha with a small kalasha-style offering. Golden oil lamps stand on the sides. The inset on the right shows two men in white ritual clothing with folded hands seated before brass plates and offerings, during a puja.2010-10-01A photograph of an outdoor shrine with a large deity murti pair seated on a raised pedestal. Two painted figures stand side by side: the left one has a red and orange crown, holds a trident, and wears gold necklaces and yellow dhoti; the right one wears a crown with a blue-and-orange garment and gold ornaments. Yellow and orange cloth drapes the pedestal, garlanded with yellow and purple flower garlands, and a kalasha sits in front. Ornate gold arch frames the shrine, with grey stone pillars carved with figures and brass oil lamps standing to each side. A small framed portrait sits at the base, showing a man in saffron robes with a mala, though the photo gives no clear view of his face. No people are visible in the scene.2010-02-20November 25 20112011-11-25 +1 copiesOctober 06 20112011-10-06 +2 copies
