January 01 20142014-01-01January 01 20142014-01-01A woman in an orange-brown saree with gold border and a red-and-gold headpiece stands at left, placing her palm on the forehead of a bald man in a white shirt and black rudraksha mala who kneels before her. She wears red and white flower garlands, gold bangles and earrings, and holds a folded white paper. Behind her is a red box holding fruit and small items, a water bottle, and a gold ornate throne. Several men in white and saffron-orange clothing stand in the background, some barefoot, on a patterned red carpet. The scene suggests a blessing or initiation ritual.2014-01-01October 14 20152015-10-14January 01 20142014-01-01A seated man in a red-orange silk sari-style garment with gold border and a long beaded rudraksha-style necklace blesses a devotee by placing his right hand on the devotee's head. The seated figure has a white tripundra mark on his forehead and sits on a red tiger-striped cushioned seat beside a golden lion-headed carved armrest. Behind them are a gold-framed backdrop and garlands of yellow, orange and maroon flowers. The kneeling devotee wears a grey checked shirt and an orange shawl and receives the blessing with his hands raised toward the seated figure. Two people are visible.2013-11-16January 01 20142014-01-01January 01 20142014-01-01A seated person in a golden throne-style chair with an ornate gold backrest places a hand on the forehead of a young boy in a dark blazer and light blue shirt. The seated figure wears a rust-orange turban with a red feather, an orange-gold garment, a thick red and gold flower garland, a pearl necklace and gold bangles. Behind them, a man in a white shirt with a lanyard presses his palms together in prayer, and a sadhu in orange robes with a rudraksha mala stands nearby. A tray with fruit and a water bottle sits on a red cloth beside the throne, and a patterned red rug covers the floor. The seated figure appears to be Swamiji (probable), based on the turban, orange-gold clothing and garland cues, and is shown in the role of blessing a devotee.2014-01-01January 01 20142014-01-01A seated figure in a rust-red turban and rust-red wrap with a gold border, wearing a white flower garland with blue beads, places his right hand on the head of a kneeling man in a white kurta with a red-patterned shawl, whose hands are pressed together in namaste. The seated figure wears gold bangles and smiles. Behind them is a golden throne with red and pink cloth and garlands, and a woman in orange stands near the back. This is a blessing gesture. The visible cues are a turban, red-orange robes and a garland, consistent with a Swamiji (probable) in a blessing role, while the kneeling man is a devotee receiving blessing.2015-10-13A photograph of a seated figure in a brown and gold draped garment with a brown turban topped with a red plume, wearing a long red flower garland and gold ornaments and bangles, touching the forehead of a kneeling man in a red sweater. Behind them, a gold-carved throne and robed attendants stand; one wears an orange robe and forehead marks, another wears white with a gold border and a rudraksha mala, and a man in a white shirt holds his hands in anjali. A portion of a person photo caption reads as an archive image. The seated figure has distinctive turban, flower garland and gold ornamentation, but the appearance is not sufficiently clear to confirm identity, so the figure is described by role only as the person seated on the throne giving blessing.2014-01-01
