A photograph of a group of people in orange and saffron clothing outdoors beside a stone stepped structure with grey granite block walls and green trees behind. In the foreground a man with long dark hair and a gold necklace sits cross-legged on the stone steps wearing an orange wrap, a long wooden staff resting beside him, and a young boy in a grey and green t-shirt sits beside him listening. Standing on the stairs to the right, a man in a white dhoti holds an orange bag, and women in orange saris with red borders hold books and water bottles. Further up, a woman in a white sari and a bald man in white stand near a building with carved stone pillars.2012-09-24September 24 20122012-09-24Outdoor photo of a wooded hillside path with rough stone steps. A central figure sits on the rocks wearing long saffron-orange robes, a saffron shawl and a rudraksha-style beaded necklace, with long dark hair swept back; he is seated among devotees. Around him, many people in white dhotis and saffron shawls sit or stand among trees, including a woman in a white sari and saffron shawl, and a man in a light blue shirt with a visitor badge in the foreground. Several other people in white and orange are visible behind. The central figure appears to be a person based on the long swept-back hair, saffron robes and beaded necklace, though his identity is not fully certain from appearance alone.2008-08-03July 02 20072007-07-02August 03 20082008-08-03August 12 20122012-08-12Outdoor photo in a leafy grove: a man in orange robes sits on a low stone wall under a yellow umbrella, speaking with a man in white clothes seated beside him. About a dozen devotees in orange and red saris, and one in a cream sari, sit on the dirt ground below listening attentively, while several monks in orange stand among the trees at right. A water bottle rests on the grass. Green foliage fills the background.2012-09-24A photograph of a shaded hillside stairway flanked by dense green shrubs and a large tree trunk on the left. A figure in a flowing orange-saffron robe with a matching orange head covering sits on the stone steps, with bare feet visible. Two devotees sit nearby: a man in a white shirt and white dhoti on the lower left, and a woman in a pink sari on the right. Behind them, several people walk up the steps, including a woman in a pink dress and a man in a grey shirt, and a child in a red-and-white striped shirt stands at right. Scattered leaves and small offerings lie on the stones. The orange-robed figure shows distinctive saffron clothing and head covering, a person depicted in person, though identity is inferred from appearance only.Devotees sit and stand along a rocky stone path cutting through dry green trees at a hillside ashram in Tiruvannamalai. Many wear white clothing with orange shawls and scarves. On the right foreground, a smiling person with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange robe and a dark rudraksha mala, seated with hands folded; this appearance-based candidate is a person but is uncertain, so the identity is marked unsure. Nearby, a woman in a blue sari with an orange shawl and a woman in white with an orange scarf sit on the stone steps. Others on the left wear white and orange and some stand behind them. Several people are gathered in a forest setting.2008-08-03September 24 20122012-09-24November 11 20172017-11-11A photograph of a group seated on stone steps at an ancient temple ruin. A central figure with long dark hair wears a saffron-orange robe and sits with hands clasped, facing a semicircle of listeners. Around him, visitors wear white and striped clothing, one woman in a pink patterned dress sits at left, and a woman in a white top with orange scarf and crossbody bag sits at right. A man in a striped blue-and-white shirt sits front left. The central figure matches an appearance-based Swamiji (probable) profile through long swept-back hair, saffron robe and orange shawl, acting as a teacher giving a talk to the group.2007-07-02
