Below them stands a large Shiva lingam in a gold yoni-peetha, draped in a garland of yellow and purple flowers. Brass oil lamps flank the shrine, and red drapery and a gold arch frame the scene. A silver kalasha-shaped vessel with garlands sits before the images, with a small figure in red-and-saffron cloth in the foreground. No people are visible.2010-07-13A golden shrine niche framed by an ornate gold arch holds a large golden deity murti of Shiva and Parvati seated together on a throne, with a red-and-gold crown on the figure and jewelled garlands. Red drapes flank the niche. Tall brass oil lamps stand on both sides and a silver-and-gold kalasha sits before the deity, decorated with marigold and purple garlands. In the foreground a seated figure in orange robes, appearing to be a sannyasi in saffron clothing and seen from behind, sits before the altar. Appearance-based label: a person cannot be confirmed from the seated figure, so the figure is described as a sannyasi in orange robes.2010-11-21
