Night outdoor ritual on a red-carpeted stage at a temple-style site. In the centre, a shirtless priest bends forward over a stone yoni-shaped abhishekam basin, pouring liquid from a long metal vessel while flower petals and marigold garlands lie on the stone. To the left, a priest in white dhoti with a gold-bordered orange shawl stands beside him. Two men in orange shawls and gold-beaded necklaces stand behind, speaking into handheld microphones. Behind them, a gold arched frame surrounds a decorated deity murti with marigold garlands, and brass pots and bananas sit in the foreground. Oil lamps and silver plates of offerings are arranged on the floor, and a few figures are visible in the distance.2018-01-31January 31 20182018-01-31January 31 20182018-01-31Night outdoor ritual homa at a fire pit with a stone yagna kund in front, where a priest in white dhoti and shawl with a maroon-and-gold border sprinkles or pours liquid from a vessel.
