A framed portrait is set on the ratha's front edge beside the figures. Inside the open shrine a deity murti is seated, adorned with flower garlands. Along the roadside a line of men in white dhotis and white shirts walk alongside the chariot, some holding white flags on poles. Green trees line the road behind them.
