A photograph of a large seated congregation holding small lit oil lamps in cupped hands during a group ritual. Most participants are women and girls in traditional South Indian dress: many wear maroon and gold-bordered saris or blouses, others wear white or cream sarees with gold borders, and one older woman in the foreground wears an orange sari. Several have forehead markings and gold-toned jewellery, and some wear rudraksha-style beaded necklaces. A few men and boys appear in the background. Lamps are lit throughout the crowd, and the setting is an indoor hall with a light-coloured floor. No speaker or throne is clearly visible in this frame.2013-01-15October 25 20122012-10-25October 25 20122012-10-25March 18 20132013-03-18January 24 20132013-01-24A densely packed indoor gathering of devotees seated on the floor during an evening ritual, many holding small lit oil lamps (diyas) in their hands. A wheelchair stands against a pale wall at upper left, and a purple bird logo appears at the top left corner. No one at the front is shown as a clearly identified central figure, and no throne or deity is visible in this frame.2013-02-27A group of women in orange and maroon saris sit closely together during a lamp ritual, several holding small brass oil lamps with lit flames.
