Night abhishekam at a large black Shiva lingam decorated with multicolour flower garlands and a rainbow-striped arch of flowers. Several people stand on a metal staircase platform beside it: a bare-chested man in a white dhoti pours or tends at the lingam, and men in saffron/orange robes stand on the upper landing, one in saffron pouring from a vessel. Strings of lights glow on the building behind, and water flows over the lingam into a flower-wreathed base.2011-10-12July 15 20112011-07-15July 15 20112011-07-15July 07 20142014-07-07Night photograph of a large black stone Shiva linga standing in still water, its arched top wrapped in a marigold garland with yellow and orange blossoms and a yellow-orange garland draped along the base. A metal staircase with railings climbs up beside it to a raised platform where several people in white dhoti and robes stand, one figure in orange-red clothing among them. Below, a small group in white stands on the steps and around the water's edge. Green and white string lights run along a fence behind, and a lit multi-storey building with rows of windows sits in the background.2011-07-15October 12 20112011-10-12October 12 20112011-10-12Night photograph of an abhishekam at a large black linga adorned with a flower garland of red, yellow, white and green blossoms and a silver-patterned yoni-pitha base. Water pours over the linga in a spray. Two priests in saffron-orange dhotis and shawls stand on a raised metal platform at left; the one pouring from a silver kalasha has long hair, gold bangles and a rudraksha-style necklace, and the other, shaved-headed, stands behind him in orange with a gold chain. Strings of warm bokeh lights and a round logo sit in the background, and a flower-garlanded floor runs along the base.2011-10-12June 04 20132013-06-04October 12 20112011-10-12March 10 20132013-03-10July 07 20142014-07-07
