2004 - First Sannyas Deeksha At AdiKailaasa2004-07-02November 24 20062006-11-24A seated man in orange saffron robes and a long rudraksha mala performs an aarti ritual, holding a silver lamp with a burning flame in one hand and a silver bell in the other. He has long dark swept-back hair and a tilak with a red dot on his forehead. Behind him, a man in a white kurta with orange shawl holds his palms together in namaste, and another orange-clad devotee sits with folded hands. In front on the floor are a brass lamp with a lit wick, a silver kalasha-style pot, marigold flowers, and bananas or mangoes on a plate. A pink cloth and a richly embroidered pink textile with jewelled garland sit nearby. The scene appears to be an outdoor puja setting. Swamiji (probable): the seated man in orange robes, rudraksha mala and long swept-back hair is performing the aarti, with the appearance cues matching the page's Swamiji reference.2008-07-03July 02 20042004-07-02Outdoor photograph of a smiling man in a saffron-orange turban and orange robes, with a red tilak mark on his forehead, long dark hair, a rudraksha mala and a white-and-red flower garland with green accents. In his left hand he holds an ornate brass oil lamp with a bright flame, and in his right hand a brass handbell. Smoke drifts behind him, and a second person in orange stands partly visible in the background.2006-12-10November 12 20102010-11-12 +2 copiesOutdoor evening arati at a temple gathering. In the foreground, a man in orange robes and an orange head wrap, with long hair and a rudraksha mala, holds a brass bell in one hand and a large copper lamp with a tall open flame in the other. Swamiji (probable) is indicated by the orange turban, long swept-back hair, orange robes and rudraksha mala, and he appears to be leading the arati. Around him a crowd stands with hands folded in namaskar; many wear white shirts and white dhotis, some in orange cloth. Behind them stands a stone temple tower with a rooftop, and strings of white and coloured pennant flags hang overhead under a grey sky.2006-09-24Outdoor ritual photograph beneath a large banyan tree with thick aerial roots. A barefoot man in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban, with a long rudraksha mala, raises a brass arati lamp with flame toward the sky while holding a small handbell in the other hand. Behind him a woman in white with a bindi and dark standing figures watch. Seated in the foreground, a bearded man in white clothes gestures with open hands beside a wooden side table bearing a brass kalasha and a brass puja vessel, and a row of brass pots and a plate of fruit and flowers lie on the ground. Several seated and standing devotees in white clothes surround the scene, and a rudraksha-adorned priest figure stands at the centre.2004-07-02September 24 20062006-09-24July 27 20082008-07-27July 03 20082008-07-03
