June 04 20062006-06-04Evening procession at dusk with many lit torches along a riverside ghat and temple spires behind. In the foreground a long-haired man in an orange shawl, bare-chested with an orange wrap, faces left. Beside him a woman in a white garment and orange shawl with red beads holds a silver trident-shaped staff aloft. A young man in an orange shawl and white dhoti stands near her. Crowds in orange clothing surround them, and a large ornate red-and-gold ceremonial banner with floral embroidery hangs above at right. The photo is a candidate depiction of a person only if the bare-chested, long-haired figure in the left foreground is identifiable, but the cues are insufficient for that claim.2006-06-04Night procession in an outdoor crowd lit by small lamps.
