January 30 20162016-01-30January 30 20162016-01-30Ceremonial photo at a golden throne: a seated man in orange-saffron robes, a tall black turban, white vertical tilak, rudraksha mala and gold necklaces, holds green leaves and a small vessel toward a bare-chested devotee with a teal-and-gold turban, neck beads and white markings on his body. Behind them a large painted image of a deity with flowing hair. Golden throne ornamentation fills the right side.2016-01-30A seated man in a gold-and-red ornate throne wears a rust-orange shawl, a long gold bead necklace, gold armbands and bangles, and a long swept-back hairstyle with a tilak on his forehead. He sits with palms pressed together in namaste before a white-and-yellow cloth-wrapped bundle on a plate of pink and purple flower petals. A shirtless attendant with white body markings and a rudraksha mala leans forward to offer the plate. Behind them a gold-carved pillar and red draped cloth complete the satsang stage setting. Two people are visible.2016-06-30October 15 20172017-10-15January 30 20162016-01-30A photograph of a seated figure in a red-orange robe with a black turban and a rudraksha mala draped across the chest, receiving a steel bowl of white cloth from a standing younger man. The standing man wears an orange garment, a silver-toned chain necklace, a rudraksha bracelet and a painted white horizontal band on his upper arm, and his hair is tied up with a band. Behind them stands an ornate gold repoussé backdrop with a red cushioned seat. The seated man, appearing as a probable Swamiji by his swept turban, rudraksha mala and ceremonial ornamentation, receives the bowl of offerings in what looks like a vishesha deeksha initiation.2018-04-11 +1 copiesApril 11 20182018-04-11A photograph of a ceremonial initiation in progress. A seated man in a dark turban, rudraksha mala and red-orange robe sits closed-eyed before an ornate gold throne backrest, holding a small vessel of water with a green leaf. Beside him stands a younger man in orange cloth with white body markings, layered beaded necklaces and a dreadlocked topknot, holding a white and blue cloth-wrapped kalasha offering. A stone pillar frames the left edge. The scene suggests a vishesha deeksha initiation, with the seated figure appearing to be the probable Swamiji (probable) given the turban, rudraksha mala, red-orange robe and throne cues, and the standing man a devotee receiving the ritual.2018-04-11 +1 copiesApril 11 20182018-04-11 +1 copiesMay 21 20162016-05-21June 30 20162016-06-30
