A standing man in a rust-red turban with a jewelled ornament and a long multicolour bead garland over his bare upper body and red-brown dhoti holds a red fruit or offering while a woman in orange sari and rudraksha mala extends her hand toward it. A bald priest in matching orange-brown cloth stands beside them, and a girl in an orange dress with an orange hair bow and a seated person in white are at lower right, with a man in a red striped shirt at far right gesturing with palms joined. A large white screen stands behind them.2013-12-15January 09 20122012-01-09 +1 copiesApril 04 20122012-04-04A photograph of a ritual exchange in an indoor hall with a cream tiled floor and red-draped curtains. A seated figure in a rust-red robe with a maroon turban trimmed in gold and a wooden rudraksha-style bead necklace places one hand on the forehead of a shaven-headed man kneeling before them. The kneeling man wears an orange saffron cloth, a dark wooden bead mala and red beaded bracelets, and his palms are raised open. Behind them, a seated attendant in white with gold-edged cloth and beads holds a white rope. Two women in saffron and white saris stand in the background, and another person sits at the right edge. The seated figure has distinctive long, swept-back hair and ceremonial gold-trimmed clothing consistent with a swami presenting a blessing, though the appearance is not certain enough to confirm identity.2013-11-04October 13 20152015-10-13December 09 20132013-12-09July 10 20162016-07-10April 27 20142014-04-27April 28 20142014-04-28September 14 20152015-09-14A seated figure in an orange-red turban and orange-saffron robes with long rudraksha and gold-bead malas sits on a gilded throne, extending a fruit toward a woman in a cream sari with floral border who kneels and offers a reddish fruit in both hands. Beside him, a shaved-headed priest in orange robes and a rudraksha mala sits with a sacred ash mark on his forehead, and two standing women in white saris, one holding a brown bag and papers, watch. Behind them stand a red curtain and brass oil lamps. Illuminated by stage lighting, the scene suggests a ritual offering. The seated figure appears to be Swamiji (probable), with turban, swept-back hair, rudraksha malas and ornate gold-bead necklaces as distinguishing cues.2015-10-12November 04 20132013-11-04
