Close-up photograph of a craftsman's hands chasing a decorative relief design into a copper-coloured metal plate resting on a cloth-covered surface. He is seated, wearing a dark dhoti with a gold-yellow border, and holds a hammer and chisel-like tools against the embossed floral and scrollwork pattern. No face is visible. The workshop setting shows metalwork being shaped by hand.

A man in a checked collared shirt and white lungi crouches on a concrete floor, hammering a repoussé design into a sheet of orange-and-brown patinated copper. A wooden-handled chisel or punch rests against the metal, and scattered nails, metal curls and wood shavings lie around him. The embossed relief shows a face with bulging eyes, possibly a deity or mask motif. The scene looks like a metal craft workshop.

A man in a white sleeveless vest and blue-and-white checked lungi sits crouched on a concrete floor, chiselling a bronze-coloured lotus-petalled base with a small hammer and tool in his right hand while steadying the piece with his left.
