A photograph of an open-sided stone shrine with carved pillars and a gold-framed arch holding two deity murtis, one red-and-gold with a crown and one in pink-and-gold, both draped in marigold garlands. Brass oil lamps stand on either side, and a blue-and-yellow figure sits at the shrine base among offerings and a kalasha. In the lower right foreground, a person in orange robes with shaved head bends forward in prostration before the shrine. Red curtains hang at the sides and greenery fills the background.2009-08-17August 17 20092009-08-17October 22 20142014-10-22 +1 copiesAugust 17 20092009-08-17A woman in a rust-orange sari with a long dark braid stands with her back to the camera at the granite base of a shrine, facing a deity murti pair seated on a raised throne. The murti pair wears garlands of marigold and white flowers, red and orange head-dress, and green and pink silk; brass oil lamps, a kalasha-style brass vessel, bells and offerings sit on the stone platform. Behind them a gold arch frames a yellow backdrop, with a smaller gilt niche and carved temple pillars around the open-air shrine.2013-04-09February 25 20112011-02-25 +1 copiesA photograph of a temple shrine with a seated deity murti pair decorated with red and white garlands, gold crowns and jewelled necklaces against a turquoise backdrop. A small standing figure in orange sits to the right within an arched niche. In the foreground, a person in an orange-brown dhoti and shawl stands with their back to the camera, facing the shrine. Two smaller figures stand to the sides, one with a dark crown and orange clothing near a gold arch. A single person with a shaved head, wearing an orange robe, stands with hands folded at the lower right facing the shrine. Brass oil lamps and a kalasha-style offering stand on the stone platform in front, with a blue backdrop and carved grey stone pillars around.2013-01-29A person in a rust-red sannyasi-style cloth with a red garland stands with back to the camera at the base of a stone shrine, facing a richly decorated deity group under a gilded arch with a turquoise backdrop. Central figures include a seated deity with garlands and a crown, flanked by standing statues wearing red and white garments and flower garlands. Brass oil lamps stand on the stone platform before the murtis, and a red velvet curtain hangs to the right. The scene is a temple darshan or puja setting with murti statues rather than living figures.2016-01-24February 26 20132013-02-26 +1 copiesA photograph of a temple shrine with large deity statues decorated with garlands and gold ornaments. Two tall figures stand within a gilded arch: one holds a trident-like staff and wears a red crown and jewelry, the other wears a gold crown and a green-and-red garment. A small seated figure with a garland sits in an adjacent green niche. A lone person in an orange-brown cloth, seen from behind with bare shoulders and arm bangles, faces the shrine. A red cloth hangs at left and oil lamps stand on the pedestal. Stone pillars frame the scene. This is a deity murti shrine, not a live ritual with a person visible.2013-01-20January 29 20132013-01-29
