A photograph of a crowd of devotees standing in a hall with a corrugated metal roof and a banner display on the back wall. Many women wear white saris and white salwar-style clothing, several with orange or saffron shawls draped over their shoulders, and some have yellow stoles. Women in the front row have hands pressed together in namaskar or folded at the chest. A woman in white with a rudraksha mala and yellow-bordered sari stands near the left front. A man in an orange shawl holds a video camera at the centre. A man in a white shirt and brown trousers stands at the right edge with hands clasped. A white-clad figure appears further right beside a metal railing. No person is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance alone.2009-06-09A photo inside a covered hall with a corrugated metal roof, hung with yellow and white paper decorations and orange banners. On the left, a banner reads "Growing Consciousness" beside portrait images of saffron-robed figures. A row of people with palms pressed together in namaste stands at a steel railing, several in white and cream clothing and one in a red-and-beige salwar. In the centre, a tall figure with long dark hair in a flowing orange-saffron robe stands with hands in namaste, and a man in a blue shirt and a shaven-headed person in white greet them. Flower garlands and a tray sit at the lower left. In the centre, a man in an orange robe with long dark hair stands with palms pressed together in namaste, smiling. Beside him, a man in an orange robe and red-trimmed garment also holds hands folded. On the left, a woman in white stands near an orange-draped kalasha-like vessel and a brass tray with yellow flower garlands. Several women in saris, one in a red-and-white floral sari, kneel or stand with hands folded, and men in white and blue shirts watch from the right. Paper and cloth decorations hang from the ceiling and a wall display shows printed images. Some people visibly appear to be part of a welcoming or prayer ritual, with the saffron-robed central figure being a person based on long swept hair, saffron robe and red-edged garment.2009-12-02June 09 20092009-06-09December 21 20092009-12-21A group of devotees stands and kneels in a plain indoor hall with a grey floor, white pillars and ceiling lights. Most wear orange shawls over white or light kurtas and salwar-style clothing; one woman in the centre kneels with palms pressed together in namaste. Others stand with hands folded in prayer, and a man in a white shirt and wristwatch stands at the right edge, also with palms together. A red and black striped mat and white cloths lie on the floor, with a water bottle nearby. The people look toward the front of the room, which suggests satsang or a devotional gathering. No person is clearly identifiable as a person in this frame.2008-07-09Indoor ashram hall with orange floor mats and draped white fabric ceiling with decorative yellow and multicolored hangings.
