A photograph of a man with long, swept-back dark hair wearing a loose orange saffron wrap over his shoulders, bowing or looking down beside a golden metallic bust-like figure with a crown and a dark rudraksha mala draped around its neck. Behind them is a dark maroon curtain, and a partially visible person in white stands to the left. A wooden staff or ceremonial rod is visible at the right edge, and an orange-clad attendant appears at the far right. The setting appears to be a stage or ritual room with no visible crowd. The man's long hair, saffron wrap and rudraksha-style beads match the appearance cues for the a person, but the identity is based on appearance only.2006-08-22August 22 20062006-08-22August 22 20062006-08-22A figure wearing an ornate silver-coloured helmet-style headdress and a saffron-orange robe stands before a dark burgundy curtain, with a long rudraksha mala hanging across the chest. The figure's arms are covered in silver bangles and armlets, and a thin wooden staff with saffron cloth streamers is held upright beside it. At the left edge, another staff with orange pennants and part of a large ornate gold-and-silver object are visible, and a partially visible person in orange clothing appears at the lower left.2006-08-22Temple scene with a decorated palanquin-like shrine draped in red and maroon cloth, garlanded with pink and red flowers, holding a golden figure. An elderly bare-chested priest in white dhoti with a striped shawl stands at left, extending his hands toward the shrine. Beside the shrine, a man in orange-saffron robes with a gold-bordered wrap and gold garland raises his joined hands overhead in worship. Another man in saffron robes with a gold garland stands with folded hands. At far right, a figure in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a bearded man with long hair in orange clothing stand near the shrine, with more devotees in the background and a stone pillar at left.2012-06-05A photograph of a ritual scene indoors with a plain pale wall behind. In the foreground a figure with voluminous dark curly hair wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over the shoulder and bare chest, holding a small brass or gold ritual vessel toward a large ornate gilt metal deity murti with a crown and multiple arms, decorated with red cloth. Behind and to the left, a bald man with glasses wears orange robes and sits with hands folded, beside several shaved-headed men in orange garments seated on the floor. Gold ritual implements are visible at the lower right. The figure with curly hair has distinctive long hair and orange garb, consistent with the page's reference to a person, but identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2006-08-22August 22 20062006-08-22June 28 20142014-06-28July 17 20162016-07-17A long-haired man in an orange saffron shawl stands in the foreground, his back partly toward the camera, and is adjusting or holding a gilded metal deity murti. The murti has a tall ornate crown, a golden face and arms, and is draped in white cloth. Beside him another person in white clothing and an orange cloth supports the figure. A microphone stand is visible at left, a dark purple curtain fills the background, and a gold-framed edge appears at right. Behind them a second gilded murti with raised hand and crown is partly visible. The scene suggests a ritual abhishekam or dressing of the murti on stage, with the saffron-clad figure's hands on the central deity.2006-08-20August 22 20062006-08-22August 09 20072007-08-09
