Night-time ritual photograph of a bearded man seated on a gold-and-red throne, wearing a maroon-brown dhoti-style wrap, a heavy gold necklace and rudraksha-style beads, with fresh flower garlands and pink petals over his shoulders and a flower crown on his head. He extends his arm while a bare-chested devotee in white dhoti with orange-saffron cloth bends forward to receive a white and pink cord. Around them, several young men in saffron-orange cloths and rudraksha malas stand watching, one with a tilak, and a white pedestal fan and offering trays with fruit and flowers sit in the foreground. The posed appearance and ornate garments suggest a formal ritual reception rather than a casual gathering, though the seated man's face and identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone.2017-08-07October 15 20172017-10-15July 18 20162016-07-18August 07 20172017-08-07A photograph of a seated man on an ornate gold-and-red throne, wearing a rust-brown dhoti and shawl with long dark hair flowing down his back, a white-and-red tilak on his forehead, a rudraksha mala, a gold ceremonial necklace and gold armlets, with a long garland of white jasmine and red roses around his neck. He leans forward and applies a marking or tilak to a bare-chested devotee in white dhoti who kneels before him, the devotee wearing a yellow marigold garland. Behind them stands a brass kalasha-style finial and a brass trident-shaped ornament, with a red-and-white cloth and flowering plants in the background. Another person in white sits at the right edge. The seated man matches the page's appearance cues of long swept hair, ornate gold jewellery and garlanded throne presence, so he is described as a person; the page indicates he is present at this event.2016-10-26A seated man in an ornate gold-framed red throne, wearing an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with a red and white flower garland, a gold necklace, rudraksha mala, bangles, and a forehead mark, gestures with his right hand as he speaks.
