A photograph of a ritual scene before a richly decorated deity murti with gold ornaments, a red and purple cloth, and garlands of yellow marigolds and red flowers. A bare-chested priest in a white dhoti with a yellow shawl stands behind a seated man in white dhoti and a dark gold-bordered shawl, wearing a flower garland and rudraksha beads. The priest holds a green leaf or grass bundle over the seated man's joined palms and head, with yellow powder marking his forehead. Red cloth covers the platform, and blurred flowers appear in the foreground.2015-07-13A temple-style ritual puja inside a decorated hall. In the foreground, a shirtless man with a red-and-gold turban and a yellow shawl printed with Sanskrit text stands with his back to the camera, holding a lamp or offering toward an altar. Beside him, a second man in white ritual dhoti and a beaded necklace faces the altar. The altar holds a large deity murti draped in yellow and orange garlands, with brass vessels, flower petals, a kalasha-style offering and oil lamps on a white cloth. Gilded parasol-shaped canopies and ornate golden thrones frame the scene, and a seated figure in white robes with a garland sits to the right near musicians with microphones. Pink-tinged light fills the room over colourful striped floor mats.2015-07-13March 27 20162016-03-27January 05 20182018-01-05April 30 20152015-04-30July 13 20152015-07-13March 27 20162016-03-27Close view of a ceremonial moment on an ornate gilded throne with a red velvet seat cushion and a brown cloth draped over it. A seated figure in a rust-coloured dhoti and gold-beaded ornaments has bare feet resting on the throne's base. A young man on the left in a bare chest with a rudraksha mala and white-and-orange dhoti holds up a small white bird or swan figure. Other hands reach in from the right, one wearing gold bangles. A red curtain and a gilded backdrop frame the scene. The seated figure's identity is uncertain from appearance alone, so no a person candidate is marked.2016-09-28Two men sit side by side in a ritual setting before a richly decorated red and gold backdrop with yellow and red flower garlands. The man on the left is bare-chested, wearing white dhoti with blue-and-green border, a green velvet headpiece, white jasmine garlands and a sacred thread. The man on the right wears a gold turban with jewelled ornament, white dhoti with blue border, a golden shawl and a white garland with a red flower. They hold their hands together over a small brass or gold vessel, performing a ritual offering. Two people are visible.2016-03-27February 08 20122012-02-08February 19 20162016-02-19Two shirtless men in white dhotis embrace before a golden ceremonial throne decorated with white and yellow garlands and a red backdrop. The man on the left wears a green and gold turban and is bare-chested; the man on the right wears a golden shawl over his shoulders and a golden-brown head covering. Behind them stand golden deity murti figures, one with a crown and Shiva-style tilak markings, with garlands draped on them. The scene suggests a devotional or honouring ceremony at a temple-like setting.2016-03-27
