Bright orange flames rise from charred wood and ash inside, with scraps of paper burning among the embers. A bare foot is visible at the top left corner, and brass vessels and a lamp stand sit on a surface at the upper right. No people are visible apart from the foot, so the scene reads as an offering fire ritual rather than a gathering.2016-09-05June 02 20152015-06-02A square fire pit lined with reddish-brown clay and framed by a yellow-painted wooden border holds a bright, flaming fire fed with bundles of dry sticks and twigs. Smoke rises from the pit. At the top left, a copper vessel with a ladle sits beside brass and steel ritual pots, and small oil lamps glow on the far side. No people are visible in the frame.2014-10-27February 07 20162016-02-07A photograph of a square fire pit with yellow-painted wooden or brick sides, with a tall flame rising from burning wood and smoke drifting upward.
