October 15 20102010-10-15Close photograph of a brass oil lamp (kuthuvilakku-style) with a lit flame, placed beside a small gilded Ganesha figure seated on a pedestal. Behind it, long strands of yellow marigold garlands alternate with red and white flower strands draped across a pillar or altar. A blurred person's bare shoulder and dark hair appears at the left edge, and brass vessels sit in the background.2010-10-15October 12 20132013-10-12October 15 20102010-10-15October 15 20102010-10-15October 15 20102010-10-15March 02 20182018-03-02October 18 20172017-10-18 +1 copiesMarch 02 20182018-03-02Close-up photo of a small gold-coloured metal figure of Ganesha, with an elephant head and four arms, standing on a tall stem above a shallow brass oil lamp. A flame burns in the lamp's bowl at left, with an ornate gold border and a warm red background. No people are visible.2010-11-09A photograph of a ritual aarti being offered before a small gilded deity murti seated on a golden base, flanked by garlands of yellow marigolds and red roses. A hand holding a silver plate with a burning camphor flame extends in from the left, wearing a gold bangle and red and blue threads on the wrist; the wearer's white dhoti and blue cloth are visible at the edge. Behind the murti, a red cloth backdrop and a draped white figure are partly visible. Only the lower part of the arm and hand are seen, so no face is shown. The setting suggests a temple or ashram shrine during puja.2018-03-02March 02 20182018-03-02
