Outdoor scene at a temple courtyard with palm and coconut trees and a white stone platform draped with yellow and orange marigold garlands. Three men in saffron-orange robes are hoisting a large saffron flag up a rope on a pole; one man in the centre pulls the rope while another reaches up to guide the flag, and a bearded man in a saffron robe stands to the right. A fourth person in orange sits crouched near a small wooden stool at the base. A white SUV is parked beside a white building at right.

Outdoor flag-hoisting ceremony at a KAILASA centre. A man in a saffron-orange turban, orange upper cloth and orange dhoti, with a red-and-white jasmine garland, reaches up to pull a yellow rope that raises a white flagpole. Several men in white dhotis and shirts crowd around, some reaching to help with the rope. On the right, an attendant in orange robes holds a brass aarti lamp with a lit flame and flower offerings, while a man in maroon clothing holds incense smoke nearby. Green shade netting, flowering shrubs and a white building with a tiled roof form the background.

Outdoor temple ritual with palm trees behind. A man in an orange-saffron sleeveless top and white-smeared arms, with a white flower garland and dark hair tied back, raises one arm and grips a thick white cloth rope wound on a white stone platform scattered with marigold petals. Beside him stands a man in white dhoti and orange shawl, and other people in orange and white clothes stand nearby, some holding a brass vessel of yellow flowers. Behind them are a carved red sandstone pillar and a dark stone base with a deity statue draped in flower garlands. Palm fronds and white-walled temple structures fill the background.
