At centre a man in a white shirt and dhoti holds a green banner bearing a circular portrait of a figure with long dark hair, orange robes and beaded necklaces, with a peacock-feather motif. Orange flags on poles flank the banner. Behind them a woman in a white sari with a long plait carries a bag, and a temple gopuram and a tiled roof appear at right, with a large billboard portrait beside the road. Visible people number roughly 6-20.2006-09-24July 27 20082008-07-27A street procession passes under a tall bamboo arch hung with a black banner printed in Tamil and red-and-white lettering, with large portrait prints of a bearded man in white head-wrap and white robes along both side panels. Musicians in white shirts and red-and-white uniforms with vests play a trumpet and a drum, while a man in a white shirt and dark trousers walks in the foreground. Strings of bunting and flags stretch across the street, with shops, a palm tree and a parked car behind. The portrait prints are depictions on banners and cannot be confirmed as a person by appearance, so their identity is unsure.2007-01-12February 12 20062006-02-12September 23 20062006-09-23January 11 20102010-01-11 +1 copies
