As a part of the Grand Inauguration of AdiKailasa at Bidadi, the foundation stone laying ceremony happened on 5th January 2003. The official event had Guests of Honor, Sri Sri Shivapuri Mahaswamiji, founder of Omkara ashrama Mahasamsthana, Karnataka and Sri H.D.Deve Gowda, former Indian Prime Minister, alongwith a few local political leaders.
