Śāstra Pramāṇa - शास्त्र प्रमाण
Sastra Pramana Source : Kirana Agama - Yoga Pada (18-19)
Original Verse : "संसिद्धयोगिनो मुख्यं धारणानां चतुष्टयम् ॥ वह्निसौम्यास्मृता बाह्यापराख्या धारणास्तु ताः |"
Transliteration
saṃsiddhaYogino mukhyaṁ dhāraṇānāṁ catuṣṭayam ॥ vahnisaumyāsmṛtā bāhyāparākhyā dhāraṇāstu tāḥ |
Translation
There are four kinds of Dhārana to be essentially practiced by an accomplished Yogin. They are: (i) vahni, (ii) saumya, (iii) amṛtā and (iv) para.
