A cluttered home shrine photographed head-on. Around it are framed devotional pictures: a gold-framed image of a deity seated in a golden shrine with oil lamps, a red-framed bronze-coloured deity in an arched niche, and a blue-framed temple and deity print. A painted clay deity murti with a gold crown and red-and-green embellishments stands at centre, with a white conch shell, green leaves, grass, a steel plate of water and a plastic bottle in front. Also visible are a small printed prayer card, a picture of a child deity with a peacock-feather crown, and a mountain temple print. Yellow and pink flowers and rudraksha garlands hang over the frames, with a leopard-print cloth draped across.A small red shrine niche holds a large painted cutout figure of a smiling man in an orange-red turban with a vertical tilak, orange robes, and layered rudraksha malas and gold chains, raising one hand in blessing. Beside him stands a golden statue in orange robes wearing a red turban, ornate gold necklaces and garlands, holding a staff-like object. The altar below is crowded with brass and gold vessels, a small golden deity image, pink and yellow flowers and petals, and a framed Amman Sri Chakra Yanthram card. Posters on the back wall show Shiva images and deity pictures, and a white sign at right reads KA... ARUP... Several small oil lamps and brass cups sit on the altar. No living people are visible.

A small room with a cracked white wall and a metal cabinet. A bare-chested man in white dhoti sits cross-legged on a mat with palms pressed together in namaskar, puja items spread before him, including a lit oil lamp, flowers, a brass vessel and a small bowl of beads. Beside him stands a cutout figure in a pink turban and pink robe with a rudraksha mala and flower garlands, hands raised in greeting, seated on a pink cloth-draped platform with a flower-decorated kalasha and a gold-backed chair. Behind hangs a gilt-framed painting of a figure in orange robes seated under a tree, with a rudraksha mala draped across the frame. A small framed deity image sits on the cabinet area.
