Happy United Nations Day!

United Nations Day (24 October) marks the entry into force in 1945 of the United Nations Charter. On 31 October 1947, the UN General Assembly declared that the Day would be devoted to raising awareness of the goals and achievements of the Organization and gaining support for its work. In 1971, the Assembly recommended that UN Day be observed as a public holiday by all Member States.

On this day, The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam and KAILASA give their heartfelt congratulations and bless all the endeavors of the United Nations towards achieving its goals for global peace and prosperity.

On this day, KAILASA, as the Ancient Enlightened Hindu Civilizational Nation and the First Nation for Hindus, reaffirms its commitment of taking the dharmic responsibility to give spiritual solutions for all the world’s problems; solutions that are tested, age-old, authentic directly from the Vedagamas, the ancient Hindu scriptures.

The Kuntaur Area Council of the Republic of Gambia and Sovereign State of SHRIKAILASA the ancient Enlightenment Civilization Nation, 1st Nation of Hindus - emphasizing their similar values on cultural understanding, religious freedom, and other rights, eradication of hunger, youth leadership, holistic health and education initiatives.

The Kuntaur Area Council was established in 1963. History has Kuntaur as an important trading post dating back to the colonial period in the 18th Century.

KTR Area Council covers a rich vegetation of savannah grassland, forest areas, hills and some estuaries. The land area also has extensive swamp land so much so that Kuntaur LGA region is regarded as an important rice growing region in the country and indeed part of the Gambian Rice Basket.

KTR Council Area is a land of mixed peoples, nationalities and dialects.
