With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA TORONTO CANADA celebrated the deeply auspicious Varalakshmi Vratam on August 8, 2025. This sacred observance, integral to the Hindu calendar and the daily Nithyotsavam rituals, was dedicated to invoking the presence of Goddess Mahalakshmi, the embodiment of wealth, prosperity, and auspiciousness. The day featured profound Abhishekam and Puja rituals attended by devotees, symbolizing KAILASA's commitment to reviving ancient Hindu traditions and ensuring spiritual and material abundance for all global citizens. The event was made possible by the dedicated efforts of 7 devoted volunteers, who ensured the smooth and reverent execution of the ceremony, aligning KAILASA Toronto with THE SPH’s vision of global consciousness awakening.
VARALAKSHMI VRATAM
The Varalakshmi Vratam is a highly sacred Hindu ritual observed globally within KAILASA to honor Goddess Mahalakshmi, the divine consort of Paramashiva in His manifestation as Lord Vishnu. This specific Vratam is observed to receive eight types of wealth (Ashta Lakshmi), encompassing prosperity, courage, knowledge, strength, victory, good children, and conveyance. KAILASA Toronto conducted the traditional Puja and Abhishekam ceremonies with great devotion, creating a powerfully charged atmosphere of superconsciousness. Devotees participated actively, offering prayers and various ritualistic ingredients, such as milk, curd, honey, and fresh flowers, during the Abhishekam, purifying the idol and receiving the boundless grace of the Goddess for holistic abundance.
This powerful ritual is integrated into the daily Nithyotsavam schedule, ensuring a continuous connection to the divine energies and spiritual technologies revived by THE SPH.
