KAILASA TIRUVANNAMALAI SRI NITHYANANDA JANMABHUMI On 10/6/2024
With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA TIRUVANNAMALAI SRI NITHYANANDA JANMABHUMI, the divine birthplace of THE SPH, hosted a day of rigorous spiritual and humanitarian service on October 6, 2024. This auspicious day was dedicated to the continuous performance of Nithyotsavam (daily rituals) for the deities, coupled with the massive Daily Annadhan program, fulfilling THE SPH’s commitment to food security and nourishment for all beings. A core team of 4 volunteers and 10 attendees ensured the seamless execution of sacred practices from the early morning (6 AM) until late evening (10 PM), serving thousands of beneficiaries and demonstrating the profound impact of KAILASA's mission of reviving the enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization in this sacred geography.
Daily Annadhan and Nithyotsavam Rituals
The day commenced and progressed with the performance of daily Hindu rituals, known as Nithyotsavam, connecting devotees and attendees with the divine energy of Paramashiva as gifted by THE SPH. These sacred practices included the *abhishekam* (sacred bathing) and *alankaram* (decoration) of the Deities, invoking the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva in the environment. These spiritual activities are central to the operations at THE SPH’s birthplace, ensuring that the sanctity of the location remains an epicenter for the revival of authentic Hindu traditions and conscious evolution.
Concurrent with the rituals, KAILASA TIRUVANNAMALAI SRI NITHYANANDA JANMABHUMI conducted its massive Daily Annadhan (sacred food offering) program. This humanitarian initiative, which is a pillar of KAILASA’s global operations, provides free, nutritious vegetarian food to all who seek it. Beneficiaries included *padayatris* (pilgrims) circling the sacred Arunachala hills, local *sadhus*, and members of the public, embodying THE SPH’s divine vow that no stomach shall go hungry. The center's dedication reflects its role in preserving and sustaining the ancient Hindu tradition of generous hospitality and compassionate service.
The scale of the service provided by KAILASA TIRUVANNAMALAI SRI NITHYANANDA JANMABHUMI is substantial and consistently impacts the local community. Over the four months preceding this date, the center had repeatedly served meals multiple times to between 1000 and 1200 people daily. Beyond serving spiritual seekers, the Annadhan program extends vital support to local government agencies. For example, feasts and food were provided to 200 to 250 personnel from the corporation department, and on one major VIP visit day (that of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh), tiffin was served to approximately 450 to 500 police personnel.
This extensive service—supported diligently by the team of 4 dedicated volunteers and 10 core attendees—is testament to KAILASA's commitment to both spiritual awakening and civic responsibility. Furthermore, enriching and expansion work is actively underway at the Janmabhoomi, ensuring that this sacred site can continue to serve an even greater number of beneficiaries and further amplify the grace and blessings of THE SPH for the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma.
