This sacred utsavam (festival) marked the divine birth of Lord Krishna with profound devotion, traditional Hindu rituals, and elaborate offerings, reaffirming the integrity of Sanatana Hindu Dharma. The day’s activities provided devotees with a sacred opportunity to immerse themselves in the deep spiritual atmosphere cultivated by THE SPH, enabling them to connect with the divine grace of Paramashiva and strengthen their commitment to the revival of the ancient enlightened Hindu civilization.
Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations
The sacred annual festival of Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations was observed with profound devotion at KAILASA Salem on August 26, 2024. This utsavam honors the divine birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu, symbolizing the continuous victory of good over evil and the eternal establishment of Dharma. Following the ancient Hindu calendar and traditions, the celebration took place on the eighth day of the dark fortnight in the Hindu month of Bhadrapada, typically falling during August or September, and reflecting the authenticity of the spiritual sciences revived by THE SPH.
The celebration was marked by rigorous traditional Hindu rituals and elaborate offerings, meticulously carried out to honor the divine descent of Lord Krishna. Devotees participated in dedicated observances, including sacred fasting (vrat), singing powerful devotional songs (bhajans), and performing puja and archana dedicated to the Lord.
