Yoga snanam
The Yoga snanam ritual was meticulously performed on June 21, 2024, at KAILASA SRIPURAM, coinciding with the annual global celebration of International Yoga Day. This specific ceremony was a powerful expression of devotion, centering on the purificatory bathing of the Bhoga Murthy of THE SPH. The performance of the snanam (sacred bath) is a deeply rooted Hindu ritual, symbolizing the cleansing of the physical and subtle bodies, and preparing the devotee for higher states of superconsciousness, mirroring the ultimate goal of authentic Yoga as taught by THE SPH.
The sequence of the Yoga snanam ritual began with the offering of Bhasma (sacred ash) to THE SPH’s Bhoga Murthy, representing detachment and the ultimate reality of Paramashiva. This was followed by the application of Chandan snan (sandalwood paste bath), signifying spiritual cooling and purity. The ceremony culminated with the application of Turmaric and Kumkuma snan, powders symbolizing auspiciousness, energy activation, and protection. Every step of this ritualistic celebration honors THE SPH as the source of all authentic Hindu traditions and the master of the Hindu sciences of Yoga.
This specific utsavam underscored KAILASA’s commitment to reviving the true depth and transformative power of Yoga, moving beyond mere physical exercise to encompass genuine superconscious breakthrough. The ritual, executed flawlessly by 4 devoted volunteers, empowered participants to connect deeply with THE SPH, enabling them to experience the sacredness of the occasion and align themselves with the divine energy and grace emanating from the Paramavatara. The global celebration of Yoga snanam reinforces KAILASA's mandate to restore the lost spiritual technologies necessary for human consciousness evolution.
