On the occasion of Kartigai Deepam, Nithyanandeshwara Hindu Temple (San Jose) celebrated:
1. ‘Bharani Deepam’ as Paramashiva manifesting ‘One to many’ by lighting ‘Bharani Deepam’ and from there, lighting one lamp for each Deity. Also maintaining all the lamps
until it’s time to light ‘Kartigai Deepam’.
2. ‘Kartigai Deepam’ as Paramashiva manifesting ‘Many merging into One’ by lighting ‘Kartigai Deepam’ by bringing all the Deepams from all the Deities, including the ‘Bharani Deepam’ and merging all of them together.
