With the blessings of our beloved Guru, KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago offered our daily Guru Puja and Shiva Puja and celebrated Barani Deepam and Karthigai Deepam along with Adi Kailasa and Kailasa's around the world.

Karthigai Deepam is celebrated on the full moon day (Pournami) of the month of Kārttikai (mid-November to mid-December) as per Tamil calendar and is one of the most important festivals. On this auspicious day of Karthigai Deepam 19th Nov.2021, The Beaver Moon partial lunar eclipse also happened, being the longest of the century. At 4am IST the Barani Deepam was celebrated by lighting the first light in front of Guru Paduka, our main deity, and offering aarti, then from this first lamp we lit other lamps to signify ONE becoming MANY, signifying Paramashiva manifesting in various forms in the cosmos.

At the end of the day at 6 pm, we celebrated Karthigai Deepam where the contents of each lamp was added to the first lamp signifying MANY becoming ONE, all merging back into Paramashiva, the Paramashivatva experience. Thank you Swamiji for this amazing experience and for teaching us the Authentic Hindu Celebrations.
