Today we offered daily puja to the sacred Padukas of our beloved Guru, Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam HDH Bhagawan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam.
Later in the day we gathered as a Sangha to celebrate Nithyananda Day by offering Nithyananda Rathotsavam. It is our very 1st Nithyananda Rathotsavam, we carried Swamiji's Atma Murti through 3 communities in South Trinidad - Barrackpore, Penal & Debe. A Rathotsavam is a Hindu Spiritual Ritual where deities of temples are carried through the streets usually in Chariots, to give darshan and blessings to all the people and to energize the entire city. In Vedic lifestyle and practice, Guru is everything: Father, Mother, Teacher, Dear friend, Beloved, Protector, Liberator and the Living Deity - Sachala Murti. The Happening of Guru is the direct grace of Paramashiva-Adishakti and all Gods & Godesses. So this Rathotsavam brbrings so much blessings and energy to each and every place visited.
