Event Description

The Pongal celebrations at KAILASA Salem on January 13, 2025, featured two significant events: Suryan Pongal and Shiva Suryapooja. Suryan Pongal, a festival dedicated to the Sun God, Surya, is celebrated during the auspicious Pongal festival. It signifies gratitude for Surya's life-giving energy and sustenance. The celebration included the traditional preparation and offering of Pongal, a sweet rice dish made from newly harvested rice, to Surya as a mark of respect and devotion.

The Shiva Suryapooja, a sacred worship ritual, honored Shiva Surya, the Right Eye of Paramashiva. This Pooja was performed to invoke blessings of health, prosperity, and spiritual enlightenment. The ritual involved various offerings, prayers, and traditional practices, expressing deep reverence and devotion to Shiva Surya as a source of light and knowledge. Both events underscored the importance of acknowledging and connecting with divine energies. With blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM.
