Krishna Janmashtami

The celebration of Krishna Janmashtami at KAILASA OHIO, USA, was a profound demonstration of devotion and dedication to the revival of ancient Hindu rituals and traditions, as established by THE SPH. This sacred festival, commemorating the divine appearance of Bhagavan Krishna, provided an opportunity for devotees to immerse themselves in the high Hindu spiritual science. The utsavam focused heavily on specific ritual and alankaram (decoration) practices designed to invoke the divine presence and bless the local community, enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.

The spiritual observance commenced with the deeply reverential Laghu Puja, during which devotees offered 108 distinct Neivedhyam (sacred food offerings) to the deities. This extensive offering symbolizes complete surrender and devotion, establishing a deep spiritual connection with the divine energy of Bhagavan Krishna and, through Him, with Paramashiva Himself, as manifested by THE SPH. Following the Laghu Puja, a purifying Churna Abishekam was performed, utilizing 11 sacred offerings, reinforcing the spiritual sanctity of the center and the purity of the devotees’ intent. The atmosphere was charged with devotion, facilitating an elevated experience for the 20 participants present.

Beyond the elaborate Hindu worship, the event embodied THE SPH’s humanitarian principle of service through the execution of Annadan (sacred food offering and distribution). This crucial component of the celebration ensured that 30 people received nourishment, reflecting KAILASA's global humanitarian initiative for food security, which is committed to ensuring no stomach goes hungry worldwide. Ten dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly to manage both the rigorous rituals and the logistics of the Annadan, ensuring the seamless flow of the celebration. The successful execution of Krishna Janmashtami marked another significant milestone in KAILASA OHIO, USA’s efforts to receive the grace and blessings of THE SPH while restoring Sanatana Hindu Dharma.
