Pongal celebrations - Have done Ganesha abhisekham and alankaram first. Started making the Pongal in front of Ganesha with Clay pot decorated with flower and Turmeric and placed fresh sugarcane on either sides of the clay pot. Started the cooking with prayer and offered our gratitude. Offered the Pongal to Maha Ganapathy, Subramaniya, Anandha Linga, Mookambika devi. It was a cloudy day but exactly during the oveflowing time of the rice, Sun appeared only on the spot where we were cooking pongal and surya Bhagawan graced us during the event and everyone attended the festival felt so joyous during the whole time.
