Kailaasa in Los Angeles celebrated Guru Poornima with day long festivities. The day began with Mahabhishekam and alankaram to Swamiji's 6 foot Murti, Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Linga, and Kapila Muni. This was followed by mahavakya chanting, kirtan, and dancing. The afternoon's festivities began with a grand procession welcoming Swamiji to his asanam in the temple. This was followed by a spectular darshan of Swamiji! Pratyaksha Pada Puja included an offering of 108 Naivediyams to Swamiji immediately proceeded by satsang in the temple and overflowing into the yogam. Sattvik dinner was enjoyed by all.
