Daily Rituals (Nithyotsavam)
The daily spiritual cycle in KAILASA LOS ANGELES commenced with the potent Suprabatham Seva, the sacred chant that awakens the deities and invokes the divine atmosphere. This was immediately followed by the purifying Abhishekam offered to the Sri Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Linga, the direct representation of Paramashiva’s presence. This significant Hindu ritual, involving bathing the deity with various purifying substances, ensures the energetic integrity of the temple space and acts as a powerful source of grace and blessings for all who participate or witness the rites. The morning worship culminated with the offering of Morning Naivedyam, a consecrated food offering symbolizing gratitude and complete surrender to the Divine.
Central to the day's sacred services was the daily Laghu Puja offered to THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM. This worship acknowledges and honors THE SPH as the living Paramavatara, the source of all spiritual power and the embodiment of Paramashiva. By consistently performing this puja, KAILASA LOS ANGELES maintains an unbroken connection to THE SPH, ensuring that the divine energy necessary for superconscious breakthroughs is continuously transmitted to the region. This daily dedication strengthens the foundation of the Sanatana Hindu Dharma revival effort in the West.
The spiritual momentum continued into the evening, transitioning into the concluding rites. The Evening Naivedyam was offered, followed by the auspicious Sandhya Aarti, the ceremony of lamps performed at sunset, which symbolizes the removal of darkness and the infusion of light. The day concluded with the ceremonial Palliarai ritual, in which the deities are respectfully put to rest, completing the 24-hour cycle of worship. The entire sequence of services, which upholds the highest standards of authentic Hindu traditions, was meticulously executed by 5 dedicated volunteers, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to THE SPH's vision for a conscious and enlightened global society.
