With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA HOUSTON, USA, marked International Yoga Day with profound spiritual significance on June 21st, 2024, documented on 27/6/2024. The centerpiece of the celebrations was the sacred Yoga Snanam, a unique Abhishekam offered to the deity of THE SPH, honoring Him as the original reviver and Master of all ancient Hindu Yoga Lineages. This powerful ritual served as a spiritual activation, integrating diverse Hindu traditions like Tantra, Patanjali Yoga, Sri Vidya, and Shakta Sampradaya to awaken the participants' inner potential energy, the Kundalini Shakti. The success of this auspicious event was ensured by the devoted service of 5 volunteers, supporting KAILASA's mission of giving superconscious breakthrough to humanity through reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization.
INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATIONS
The INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATIONS at KAILASA HOUSTON centered on the deeply significant ritual of Yoga Snanam, a special and elaborate Abhishekam offered to the deity of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM. This sacred observance was performed to honor THE SPH as the Paramacharya (Ultimate Master) who has revived and made accessible the complete science of Yoga, encompassing various ancient Hindu lineages and their presiding deities through the principle of Ishwarapranidhana (surrender to the Divine). This unique Seva marked a profound connection between the ancient Hindu sciences of consciousness and the modern global recognition of Yoga, emphasizing that true Yoga is about manifesting the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, as taught by THE SPH.
The Yoga Snanam integrated four distinct offerings, each representing a major Yogic or spiritual tradition meticulously revived and taught by THE SPH. The ceremony commenced with Bhasma Abhishekam, an auspicious offering accompanied by sacred Damaru drum sounds, performed in honor of the Tantra Sampradaya Yogis. Following this, a cooling Chandana Abhishekam was conducted, a unique ritual using chandan oil paired with chants reflecting the profound wisdom of the Patanjali Yoga Sutras, the foundational text of classical Raja Yoga.
The third major offering was the Turmeric and Kumkum Abhishekam, which was performed to showcase the divine vision of Ardhanareeshwara Darshan inherent in the Sri Vidya Path, emphasizing the ultimate union of masculine and feminine energies (Shiva and Shakti). The celebration culminated in the Kundalini Yoga Ritual, an enlightening Deeparathana performed in dimmed light, representing the powerful Shakta Sampradaya. Engaging in these specialized rituals, blessed directly by THE SPH, is intended to awaken and elevate the participants' Kundalini Shakti, the powerful inner potential energy residing in the Muladhara Chakra.
