KAILASA HOUSTON DAILY TEMPLE ACTIVITIES
The daily spiritual schedule at KAILASA Houston, recognized as the Nithyotsavam (continuous festival), is a vital component of KAILASA's global mission to revive the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization. The rigorous maintenance of the temple schedule ensures the continuous manifestation of the divine presence of Paramashiva, enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH’s vision for consciousness awakening. The activities commenced in the sacred Brahmamuhurta with the awakening of the divine through the Suprapatam Seva, a practice designed to honor the deities and simultaneously inspire devotees to awaken the divinity inherent within themselves, seeking the blessings of THE SPH at the start of the new day. The successful conduct of these daily rituals is sustained through the dedication of temple sevaks, including 1 committed volunteer on this day.
Following the awakening, the temple performed the sacred Bhoga Murty Alankaram, involving the offering of exquisite clothing and jewels to the deities of THE SPH, Devi, and Shiva Meru. This was followed by a ritualistic Deity Procession, welcoming the Bhoga Murthy deities into the main temple area. The core worship included the powerful Sri Guru Puja offered to THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, and Sri Shiva Puja offered to Lord Nithyanandeshwara (Moolavar), conducted diligently both in the morning and evening, reinforcing the presence of Paramashiva in the Houston ecosystem.
In addition to the traditional Hindu rituals, devotees participated in powerful consciousness practices gifted by THE SPH, gathering for Nithyananda Yoga and Nithya Dhyan meditation during the auspicious early hours. These sessions included 108 rounds of Prathama Vinyasa Krama, utilizing ancient Hindu spiritual technologies designed to help participants manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. The continuous cycle of daily worship concluded in the evening with the offering of Naivedhyam (sacred food) to all deities, followed by the sacred Palliyarai Seva, the process of respectfully putting the deities to rest with the traditional Chamaram (sacred whisk), marking a day completely dedicated to the divine service of KAILASA and its vision for global awakening.
