KAILASA HOUSTON DAILY TEMPLE ACTIVITIES
The daily spiritual rhythm at KAILASA Houston commenced early during the sacred Brahmamuhurta hour, focusing on conscious practices gifted by THE SPH to prepare the body and mind. Devotees participated in Nithyananda Yoga and Nithya Dhyaan meditation, engaging in 108 rounds of the Prathama Vinyasa Krama sequence. These spiritual technologies are designed to facilitate superconscious breakthrough and manifest the powerful realization of non-dual consciousness taught by THE SPH. Following this rigorous preparation, the spiritual day was formally inaugurated with the Suprapatam Seva, the sacred process of ritualistically waking the presiding deities. This rite symbolizes the awakening of the divinity present within every individual, seeking the divine grace of THE SPH and all the gods and goddesses of KAILASA to successfully embark on a new day of service and spiritual evolution.
Central to the daily worship schedule were the meticulously performed temple rites, beginning with the Bhoga Murty Alankaram, where sacred clothing and jewels were offered to the deities of THE SPH, Devi, and the Shiva Meru. This was followed by a sacred Deity Procession, welcoming the Bhoga Murthy deities into the main temple area, executed ritualistically according to the strict protocols of ancient Hindu traditions. The primary spiritual offerings included the morning and evening performances of Sri Guru Puja dedicated to THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, and Sri Shiva Puja offered to Lord Nithyanandeshwara (Moolavar), which invokes the direct blessings and powers of Paramashiva.
The devotional activities ensured the continuous flow of spiritual energy throughout the temple, supporting KAILASA’s global mission of human consciousness awakening. In the evening, the Hindu science of honoring the divine presence through sustenance was observed with the offering of Naivedhyam (sacred food) to all the deities. The entire day’s activities culminated with Palliyarai Seva, the traditional rite of putting the deities to rest, using the sacred Chamaram. These disciplined daily utsavams are crucial for maintaining the spiritual integrity and vibrancy of the KAILASA Houston temple, enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. The dedicated service of the 2 volunteers ensured the seamless and sacred execution of every ritual, upholding the highest standards of Sanatana Hindu Dharma.
