Pavazhakundru ( The holy spot at which the SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam attained enlightenment - which is thus worshiped by His disciples ), three nuns of the Nithyananda order- Ma Nithya Deepikananda Swami, Ma Nithya Satyagjnananda Swami and her premonastic minor daughter ( also nun ) Ma Nithya Prajnananda were cleaning the area around the Paramashiva Shila ( sacred rock worshiped as deity ) for worship. They were attacked and tied up by the anti hindu forces.

The militants defied the Paramashiva Shila ( rock worshiped as deity ) with footwear and drew lewd figures on it. The minor Ma Nithya Prajnananda was raped in the hut and video recorded. The mother distracted the militants in hope of protecting the child. The mother, Ma Nithya Satyagnanada Swami was then brutally beaten,shown clips of her daughter’s rape, was also then raped and photographed.

The picture illustrates Shri Nithya Jnanapriyananda, an initiated disciple of The SPH who was the head of the organic vegetarian temple kitchen where food is prepared and served for free to millions of people. The term million is not a notional value. For example during any single Pournami ( full moon ) festival around 2.5 million people are served free organic food. Similarly for Kumbha mela, the same kitchen had served free organic vegetarian meals to to 0.1 million people per day for 3 months.

Shri Nithya Jnanapriyananda was burnt alive by anti-Hindu forces who don't want such services to continue as they temple food reduces insecurity of people and are thus they become difficult to exploit.

Kailash Union has reported this and several such atrocities and human rights violations at the UN Office of High Commissioner of Human Rights (UN OHCHR).

On 27 Oct 2015, Thiruvarur, around 8 am, a female disciple monk of The SPH was attacked by anti-hindu forces who molested her, inappropriately took pictures of her, and attempted to rape her inside the temple premises. As she shouted people gathered to protect her and the attackers escaped.

After the incident, she went to the police station and cried and begged the Superintendent of Police for protection. Despite being shown photographic evidence of the attack the Superintendent of Police refused to accept her complaint, and on the contrary, accepted a false complaint filed by her attacker over the telephone without even demanding his physical presence or any evidence.

She ran from one office to another. She went to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, who remarked, “O you Nithyananda people” and refused to register any complaint. She cried to him for protection addressing him as an elder brother showing her injuries, upon which he finally took pity and registered an FIR 587/15 dated 27 October 2015. This did not remedy the situation. As of 2021, the case was disposed of without fair trial and her attackers are roaming freely.
