KNOW ABOUT PACHAI PATINI VRATHAM Let us protect the whole world from negativities and diseases by observing PACHAI PATTANI VRATAM, invoking the grace of Samayapuram Mahamaayi; The highlight of the annual festival would be that of the presiding deity, MahaMari, deviating from the beaten religious track, who would fast Herself for four weeks in order to safeguard the interests of her countless devotees. This is the only temple in the country where the presiding deity Herself fasts for the sake of Her devotees.

During the period of fasting, Devi will not be offered the usual Naivedyam (offerings of cooked items). Instead, only light drinks would be offered ; namely tender coconut, sugar candy, jaggery water, and buttermilk.

The fasting (locally known as Pachai Pattini Viratham) will be observed Amman to ward off the low-consciousness frequency which emanates from when she vanquishes Mayasura.

On this auspicious day of Maha Paramashivaratri, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam shared that His message was only 'Inner Awakening'. On that day, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam expounded on the subject of ‘Eastern Mysticism and Western Philosophy’. SPH explained that Philosophy is intellectual and shared that the knowledge, the informations, the verbalizations of the experiences, the memories of the past, the assumptions about the future, these are all philosophy. SPH shared that on the other hand mysticism is more regarding transforming our life. It is the Alchemy which happens in our Being. SPH explained that Alchemy is the process which makes the metals pure, which transforms the Inner Being, which makes a man to become God, the devil to become Divine and the words to become realization. This process is what The Paramavatara of Paramashiva, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam called it as the Ultimate Alchemy.

On this day’s Presidential Address the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam revealed how authenticity independently can lead us to enlightenment. SPH shared that when our inner image of ourselves matches the image we present to others, we automatically want to take responsibility for everything around us and enrich the world. The integration of the inner self-image(mamakara) and the self-image we display to others (ahamkara) strengthens us and make us genuine. SPH further explained that strength also flows from completing our unfinished business rather than inwardly preparing for a possible failure. He shared that when we have vanquished our past situations we will no longer be seeing failure as an option.

In that day, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH) Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam continued on the Living Advaita Series of Addresses and Initiations from the Upanishads and beautifully explained what it means to say “no” and “yes” to life. The SPH shared that food, shelter, clothes and medical care, these four basic necessities to live poverty-free, should and can be accessible to every human being on the planet. However, if for some reason people don’t have access to these four, it’s simply because the decision-makers are saying “NO” to life. SPH explained that the only way that this problem can be solved is, more and more people who consciously say “YES” to life should become decision-makers. It cannot happen by revolution. No revolution will do this, because, usually, the people who lead the revolutions are always again the people who say “NO” to life. It can happen only by evolution. It is never going to happen by removing the people who are having power and replacing them with somebody else. The Nation of Kailasa is one big dedicated “YES!” to life because it empowers everyone and raises more and more people to say “YES” to life.

On this day's Presidential Address, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH) Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam explained the auspiciousness of one of the most ancient Hindu rituals known as Maheshwara Puja, which is offered in the remembrance of a person who is no more, so that the departed soul rests in peace, the real peace that a soul can experience is the peace of Enlightenment. On this day, The SPH expounded on why the Kailasa Nation conducts the sacred Maheshwara Puja twice every month. In Nithyananda Sampradaya, delegates, diplomats and disciples offer Maheshwara Puja so that the departed soul can be liberated in the presence of The Paramavatara of Paramashiva, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam. During the Maheshwara Puja, The SPH, who is the embodiment of Cosmic energy, personally receives the Bhiksha or food offering and He liberates the departed soul. No matter how many births the person would have taken after leaving the body and no matter if the person has met the Master or not throughout their life, the Master can intervene and make His presence available in the departed soul’s life and lead it to Enlightenment. A key component of the Maheshwara Puja is the offering of food to the Master along with His monastic disciples. This is when The SPH blesses the ancestors to attain Enlightenment and offers them “pinda” or food for the journey to their Enlightenment.

On this day's Presidential Address, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH) Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam explained that almost all of our experiences in life happen in the zone of chemicals, hormones, memories and emotions. The SPH further revealed to His Kailasa cabinet, delegates, diplomats, disciples and the general public a powerful analogy – just how gold is a universal currency in the external world.. It is Tyga that’s the superpower in the internal world. The Paramavatara of Paramashiva, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam shared that Tyaga is the single and sole most powerful catalyst agent to transform our Atma into Paramatma, soul, into Cosmic soul, Shava into Paramashiva and our individual existence to Paramashiva. Because Tyaga brings intense focus to our ultimate reality. SPH explained that struggle is not wrong in our path to Kailasa – Enlightenment, but losing focus is something seriously wrong. If we lost focus, we lost everything. We may be struggling with our Paramashivattva space and that may be because of our lust or hunger patterns, but we will be struggling with will-persistence.

Then when we leave the body, these two patterns will become irrelevant and then Paramashiva will stand infront of us and we will merge with Him! On this day's Presidential Address, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH) Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam expanded on the royal, sacred secret science of Kayakalpa – the best methodology to have a superconscious breakthrough. The SPH explained to Kailasa Nation that Enlightenment doesn’t even require hard work, it just requires sincere work. SPH gave a beautiful instruction to the delegates that whenever it is possible, they should sleep under the open sky and gaze at the sky as much as they ccould and fall asleep. Because this would help the brain’s ability to grasp the larger visualizations, larger visions, ideas, truths. SPH described that ability as the maturity of the mind and explained that the maturity of the mind is mandatory for the maturity of the Consciousness to happen. Meanwhile, on this day, construction for expansion of the Jeeva Samadhi (place of final resting of mortal frame) of Brahmayogini Mata Vibhutananda Puri, Guru of The SPH was underway in Tiruvannamalai (The SPH's birthplace). She coronated The SPH as her only successor through an official ceremony and coronation document dated 24 May 1994 (when The SPH was 16 years old), which was a seed for the Nation of Kailasa to begin growing and expanding across the globe.
